BuzzAttack promises a game show experience style adventure for a group of friends. Each room can host 4-12 people per game, though it should be said that there are 6 podiums per room, so groups of more than 6 have to double up per podium and play in teams.
Before the game begins, each player gets to select 3 trivia topics from a myriad of categories, customising the experience and giving everyone a chance to choose themes they are familiar with. This really helps to put people on an equal footing, randomly choosing different topics throughout the game.
Each round has different game mechanics, which provides an incredibly varied play experience. Between rounds, the big wheel comes into play, giving players a chance to gain or lose points for an extra fun randomiser when it comes to scores. The different games are very varied and really fun, with four big bright buzzers for players to use throughout.
The atmosphere at BuzzAttack is super fun and playfully competitive, with bright lights and loud sounds guiding through the experience. While the venue itself is wheelchair accessible, the podiums are very tall and not usable from a seated position, unfortunately there is no alternative provided to make it fully accessible.
BuzzAttack is a really fun gaming experience with a lot of replay value due to the variety of topics available, myriad of games throughout the rounds, and the exceptionally fun atmosphere.
