The Traitors Live Experience in Covent Garden lets guests dive into their favourite TV show and become a contestant themselves. Whether you book on your own or grab a private table for 10-14 players, you’re in for a 2 hr adventure filled with intrigue and backstabbing.
Disclaimer: I was lucky enough to play with a group of friends at a private table, which may change the dynamics of how the game works out for players, I also have never actually watched the TV show, but am familiar with social deduction style games.
The location is very thoroughly themed, starting in the waiting area where players are sorted into their respective teams. With images and the familiar black robes from the TV show lining the room, and a spiral staircase leading past a glowing treasure of gold coins and down to the playing area. The round table has space for up to 14 contestants, and a professional host leads through the experience, complete with night time, breakfast discussions, challenges, and of course murder and banishment. Our host, Eli, was absolutely amazing, making sure throughout the experience that everyone in the group was comfortable and having the time of their lives, guiding us through discussions and challenges, and of course letting the traitors do their thing overnight while everyone else in the group wore blindfolds.
The thorough theming and fun challenges really made the game enjoyable! And even those who were removed from the table still got to take part in a separate room, where they watch the round table on large screens, and work on their own challenges to help or hinder the players along the way. There is a lot of thought put into this experience.
I have to admit, your game will very much depend on the players you are with, but it’s been an absolute delight to play with a group of good friends!
