Another show at the Camden Fringe, I Love To Fly ran at the Little Angel Theatre last week. Set inside an airport, this play looks at people about to board a plane, examining the plethora of reasons behind fear of flying, hopes and dreams of those setting off for a new destination, stress and ambitions clashing at the gates.

A collection of skits set at the gate and on the plane, it runs through various scenarios with a hefty dose of comedy. This play, and it is definitely a play, not a musical, doesn’t take itself too seriously, adding a selection of songs to the action. From family tensions to full emotional breakdowns, I Love To Fly has it all. A revolving cast of characters with a wide range of goals and dreams bares their emotions on the way to their flights.

A great little comedy with some heart warming moments and big personalities, it’s a laugh-out-loud riot that will make you yearn to book your next flight and observe the other people at the gate.
