If you follow Daniel Foxx on social media, you definitely know what to expect from a solo show!
This work-in-progress was to test new material on a small audience to help build a full show. And it was exactly what I’d hoped it would be.
There were a lot more personal anecdotes than in his comedy reels, drawing from youth and relationship experiences, but of course familiar characters also made an appearance. Especially the Bedtime Stories for Privileged Children is always a great laugh.
I don’t often book for work in progress shows, as I prefer to see a fully finished show, but I am very glad I booked this gig, it was as hilarious as I’d thought it would be!
