Oh, where do I even start with Doctor Who Time Fracture? I had booked this with friends a long time ago, I think we originally booked this in late 2020. At first, opening was delayed, so we had to reschedule more than once. Then the venue flooded and more rescheduling was done. Eventually we decided to just move it a good while forward to my Birthday in early February 2022, and when the day finally rolled around, we were very excited it was finally time to join UNIT for a very special adventure.

Now, we were sworn to secrecy, so I can’t get into detail here, but I can tell you one thing. If you’re at all a fan of the WHOniverse, do yourself a favour and book a ticket asap! This is exactly what immersive theatre should be, with so many surprises and twists for fans of the series!

Featuring many recordings of original series actors, nods to well known characters, villains, and plot lines, this is an absolute feast for Whovians, making fan hearts beat faster with excitement. We were lucky to be recruited for secret missions quite early on, running from location to location to try to track down clues and items.

We had a brilliant time with our personal companion who rushed us throughout the venue to meet a host of characters. I would love to go again to see a different path, as there is just so much going on in different locations at the same time.

Definitely my favourite immersive theatre event I’ve participated in in quite a while! Possibly only topped by Secret Cinema’s Stranger Things, but only just. Operation Time Fracture is beyond amazing and I can’t recommend it enough, even for the casual fan.
