Aaaah, you really don’t have to say much about this one, do you?

The musical was playing at the Peacock Theatre the night before Halloween, so I grabbed a friend, threw on my Columbia outfit, and headed on down. It’s always a blast, especially with a live audience and a skilled, witty narrator who can think on his feet!

The only thing I can say is that the audience was shocking even for this show! The three women sitting next to me were having a chat at full talking volume throughout the entire show, people kept singing loudly over top of the performers, and three people across the aisle from us were asked to leave halfway through the show due to excessive drunkenness. Can you imagine how raucously drunk you have to be to be kicked out of a Rocky Horror Picture Show performance?

The show that is known for loud and rowdy audiences? It did give us a bit of a laugh, but next time I’ll sit closer to the front again, so I can actually hear the performers over the audience!
