Took a trip to Mountfitchet Castle the other week, what a fun place!
It’s a rebuilt Norman village with loads of interactive exhibits, both educational and fun. There are also many tame animals wandering the grounds, so make sure to buy animal feed when you get your tickets.
The deer eat right out of your hands!
As well as a small dinosaur landscape, there’s a big toy museum with a haunted mansion on the grounds as well. We had a lot of fun exploring and trying things out, a brilliant day out!
