Last week’s trip to Bodiam castle was brilliant!
A beautiful piece of history with so many corners to explore. This castle has a huge moat around it, filled with carp and ducks and lily pads.
There’s informational films showing in a few corners of the castle, explaining its history and how it would have looked back in the day.
Info plaques were also strewn throughout, so we could see what rooms the ruins would have been, and what they were used to. The old castle is really well presented and in such a beautiful location! We could even see the steam train passing by in the distance.
