Remember, remember… Treason the musical is a brand new production streaming this weekend only! While the musical itself is still being developed, the score was recorded with a stunning West End cast to be experienced by audiences right now.
Treason focuses, as the name suggests, on the failed gunpowder plot of 1605, still celebrated on the 5th of November in the UK every year. I booked to see it on Friday night and massively enjoyed the concert version. The songs are very engaging and the little of the plot we got to see through this pared down concert version was simply stunning.
I can see this becoming a big hit musical in no time, once the finished version hits the stage! With a cast of strong voices, the score of Treason is engaging and emotional. Beautifully staged at Cadogan Hall, it’s a do-not-miss event.
If you’re at all interested in musical theatre, I suggest you jump on the stream to experience this concert version while it is still available. Treason is only streaming this weekend, so tomorrow, the 14th March, is the last chance to see this amazing production. Get to it!
