The Hope Mill Theatre created a wonderful production of RENT, which unfortunately had to be cut short due to the November lockdown in the UK. Luckily, the show was professionally recorded and available to watch online for a time. Of course I had to secure a ticket and see this classic musical.
This production boasted one of the most powerful and passionate cast ensembles I have ever seen on stage together. There was so much talent and skill packed into this beautiful show, it was unreal. With a simple but effective set, creative costume design, and adaptive lighting, Rent was gorgeous to watch and absolutely captivating.
I loved this production and would definitely recommend you try to catch it if it ever becomes available to stream again.
