A few weeks ago, I got to see one of the Talking Heads shows at the Bridge Theatre, thanks to a gifted ticket from a fellow instagram reviewer.
First up was Tamsin Greig’s performance of Nights In The Gardens Of Spain. A haunting story that starts a little confusing but as it reveals itself, becomes more and more disturbing.

The second monologue was Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet, performed by Maxine Peake. I started out really disliking this somewhat vapid and misogynistic character, but as the story unfolded, warmed up to this repressed and deluded, but very entertaining woman.
Both monologues were wonderfully presented and I loved the evening.

The Bridge Theatre have created such a beautiful live theatre experience with extensive measures to keep everyone distanced and safe. I have a few more bookings with them coming up and am very much looking forward to being back soon.
