I love to take my charges to the theatre, so am always on the look out for their age group. The Flying Bath was listed at 2-5yrs and thus seemed perfect!

Based on the book by Julia Donaldson and David Roberts, it’s a very simple and cute story, adapted to a fun bath time adventure on stage.

Full of catchy songs and bright colours, this show is absolutely delightful. Two siblings get into messy bath time adventures with their bath toys, using wash cloths, plants, toys and much more to create cute backdrops, props, and characters. A beautiful, imaginative tribute to the value of free play.

One of the children communicates through BSL, accompanied by spoken words, making this cute show accessible to BSL users. The sparesness of words as well as the repetitive songs are great for very young children and have them completely enthralled with the show!

The Flying Bath was very well thought out, I loved the addition of BSL to make the show more accessible, and the bright and energetic characters were super fun. The 2yr old and 3.5yr old I took along to this show were enthusiastic about it and couldn’t stop talking about it for days.
