We were given the chance to try Escape Land Oxford Street‘s other room, Professor Oxford’s Experiment, with Love Popups London. We played their Da Vinci’s Exploration room before and it was great.

This room is themed around time travel, with classic as well as modern elements. From the first minute, we were all busy working on puzzles, finding clues and solving riddles. There is so much to do, we didn’t have a dull moment in any of the rooms.

That said, there are a lot of combination locks to work with, so if you don’t like lock-heavy rooms, this one may not be for you. The puzzles that get you the right combinations are very interesting, variable and logical though, so we all enjoyed the work.

Mostly it was quite straight forward, there were some surprising and unusual elements, and one of the rooms is quite dark to work in. Overall a very rich and exciting room that keeps you on your toes and running back and forth.

We didn’t need any clues to solve this one and got out in just over 40 minutes. It’s a great room with good props and puzzles.
